Monday, September 3, 2012. Thoughts of an injured exerciser. On Friday I had the bitterly disappointing misfortune of breaking my second toe on my left foot. It was such an innocuous incident, a glorified stubbing of toe. As someone who takes great pride in their physical prowess and durability, this is a physical and psychological body blow. My second toe is the broken one. My big toe always looks like that thanks to 16 years of cricket. All of these options cause pain.
